How we started
At Field Machinery Services (FMS), we bring over 15 years of hands-on experience in machinery maintenance and repairs, specializing in servicing hire and rental companies, construction, and industrial equipment.
Our journey started in South Australia, working in the Iron Triangle – Iron Duke, Iron Knob, and Iron Baron – with a leading hire company, maintaining everything from access equipment and light towers to 30-tonne excavators and water trucks. Fast forward to Melbourne, we’ve managed and serviced equipment for major companies, including StarTrack PM Workshop, JLG, Coates, Adaptalift, Tennant, Sinoboom, and MSA.
Having worked across workshop and field service environments, we understand the fast-paced, high-pressure world of hire and rental companies. We know how critical it is to keep equipment running and how much pressure downtime can place on operations.
